Core Class

This is for you if…

-You're new to Pilates
-You're an existing client and are recovering from an injury or illness*
-You're a regular and you want to brush up on the fundamentals of Pilates
-You have comfy sports gear and socks or bare feet

 

*if you have specific requirements for rehab please contact us to organise a one to one session


Intense Class

This is for you if…

-You have no injuries
-You can hold your legs in table top for 10 seconds or more
-You're proficient in all the basic Pilates moves:
table top
flexion
extension
lateral bends on the box
feet in straps and have no pain while doing each move

 

Power Class

This is for you if…

-You have no injuries
-You can hold table top for 20 seconds or more
-You can do:
Teaser
Snake
Tendon stretch
Inversions (feet in straps)
Jump board

 
 

At Sway Pilates it is important to follow these guidelines to ensure that you can progress safely and effectively in your practice. If you are unsure about what level class you should be taking, it is always best to ask the instructor for guidance.

Similarly, if you find that you are attending a certain level class simply because the time slot works best for you but you feel you would benefit from a different level class, have a chat with us.

We may be able to add another class at a more suitable time.
